GRID
GRID [Studio Grid Limited] is a London based company, established by sculptor Michael Lisle-Taylor in 2006. It offers a broad range of creative production partitioned from Lisle-Taylor’s art practice. GRID predominantly works with photographers and stylists, creating environments, scenery and props that realise a clients brief within their budget.
Besides fine art training in Sculpture at Foundation (Bath), BA (Chelsea) + MA (RCA) levels , he attended theatre design course (Wimbledon) and work placements at the Bristol Old Vic, The Pleasances Theatre ( Edinburgh Fringe Festival) + Royal Opera House. Followed by 6 years of regular assistanting work for set-designers from the fashion industry on major advertising campaigns, editorial for magazines and music promotion.
In addition and prior to the creative education ML-Ts background was aircraft engineering maintaining helicopters and Harrier jump jets in opperational environments. Further experience includes psychological operations, adventurous training and the diverse skill base you would expect from over 20 years of military service with both theregulars and reserves.
